RECREOL® Ointment

For supportive treatment of superficial skin lesions

For supportive treatment of superficial skin lesions of various origins by1:

RECREOL® OINTMENT

  5. Apply thinly to the affected areas of the skin in adults and children once to several times a day

RECREOL® Ointment contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol, which belongs to the group of preparations for the treatment of wounds and ulcers. Dexpanthenol, also known as provitamin B5, can help accelerate the healing process of wounds.1

 

Dexpanthenol is converted in the tissue to pantothenic acid, a component of coenzyme A (CoA), that is essential for normal epithelial function, increased fibroblast proliferation, and accelerated re-epithelialization in wound healing.1

 

This process of cell division and formation of new skin tissue restores the elasticity of the skin and promotes wound healing. 1


RECREOL®-Ointment is suitable for the supportive treatment of superficial skin lesions (such as minor burns and cuts, abrasions and fissures), and skin inflammation (as a result of radiotherapy, phototherapy, or UV radiation).
